Communication – letting others know what is happening, finding out information, whether written, verbal or through audio. Communication is the basis of being with the Lord too. No answers can be received unless we communicate. Words unspoken are of no use. Reading is a form of communication, one which the Lord uses, he gave us His Word. We must look in His Word to find the message or answer we need to receive. Every situation we are in we have a choice, we can choose our reaction to a situation and our attitude about it. We need to replace the old, sinful, natural responses with new attitudes.

A comparison between the movie “It’s a wonderful life” and the things of the Lord. Are you allowing the old man to come back into your life? Why do I have to put off the old man? Why is it important? Why wouldn’t the Lord just put off my old man? Why do I have to continue putting off the old man? If I hadn’t had to fight the battle and reject those things, I would grab hold to those things again. If I can put them off here, in heaven where the flesh will not be dragging me down it’ll be easy to not pick those traits back up.
