Subject:

  • Walking in the Spirit.
  • Sunday Texas Service from 8.17.2014
  • The Gift of Faith – which is different than the measure of faith given to every man.
  • The gift of faith is the supernatural ability to believe without a doubt.
  • The Lord says everyone that asketh, receiveth.
  • How much do we walk in this very thing in unbelief?  We ask but we don’t believe that which the Lord opens for us we don’t receive.
  • We know that grace is there because we need it, not so we can hang out in unbelief.
  • God doesn’t limit the size of things we should ask for, no matter how large or how small we should ask.  He will answer.
  • We can speak of the wonderful works of God and that is good, but we also need to do them.
  • God calls us to believe Him and to learn to stand in Him through the price He paid on the cross.
  • We need to believe that God wants to answer prayers from us and about us.
  • When it’s personal you have to have the faith to receive.  One of the reasons we don’t receive is because we make the choice not to trust God.  He will give us all these good gifts if we will receive them.
  • When you falter in Grace you fall, when you stand in Grace you STAND!
  • We need to stand in the fact that God answers our prayers.
  • Nothing in the Word says you must qualify or a thing is too big or too small, just ask.
  • Praying continually all throughout the day is a recognition that you need Jesus all the time.
  • He supplies our need for Mercy, Grace, Wisdom, Love and Strength.  He supplies it all and we need it all.
  • To know the Gospel is knowing by faith.  You can know the word of God but not know the Gospel.
  • Those people who have that gift of faith will exercise it until others are able to fully stand in faith and know the Gospel.
  • If we want to serve God we have to come into obedience by faith.  He is a good God whom we can serve.
  • Seek first His kingdom and He will take care of all your needs and even your wants.
  • We have a great cloud of witnesses both in the present and in the Word of God, of them who stood not withstanding what was going on.
  • Men ought always to pray and not to faint.
  • It is up to us to have that faith.
  • God has given each of us enough faith to believe everything He has said and do His will.  If we will and exercise our faith in Him we too will do the things as Paul did.
  • The gift of faith is to profit withal.
  • We have got to continue to press on and do with the gift of Faith that which will bring eternal life to ourselves and hopefully to others.
  • When it is a dependence upon God  through obedience, trust and faith, it will be visible by our actions whether we believe or don’t.  It is our hope.
  • We need to faith that what God has promised He will fulfill!
  • We need to get over the sense that there has to be some righteousness in us.  We need to stand in thanksgiving for the righteousness through Christ.
  • The mustard seed doesn’t give up, it keeps going until it reaches the sun.  That is what we need to do, that will be well pleasing to God.
  • He calls us to stand in Him as Jesus did and not grow weary or faint.
  • Lay aside the weights and run. That is how we exercise our faith.
  • Let’s believe Him and become the sons and daughters of God!
