God is love, and the charity spoken of in 1 Cor 13 is love. Our soul comes from God and returns unto God. Who else would you lift up your soul unto? David is lifting up his soul to the Lord to be examined and be transformed in accordance with God’s will. I trust in thee: That is a cry, also a declaration. It is a choice we make within ourselves to trust in Him.

Conference-10/17/2013-7am
Scriptures Used: Psalms, Romans 13
Subject: You cannot go out until you have set your affections on Him. Davids writings in Psalms always end in victory. David submitted to Saul. David played the harp for Saul and Saul got relief because of it. We don’t have to make ourselves loveable to Jesus. Only His blood makes us worthy of anything. David’s only care was for the people. Trust wholly in Him and go forth in Him. Think about how much God loves you. Can you love others the same way? Continue reading
