Sunday TX – 12/15/2013
All of us must repent from sin, not just unbelievers. All sin is evil, the root of which is pride and unbelief, we’ve got to stomp that out. If we don’t deal with these sins we are going to die in these sins and go to hell. Sin is deceitful so all too often we don’t see the sin we have in us. If we don’t know it is there how can we address it? How can we overcome these things unless we look for them, but it hurts so we don’t look at it.
SCRIPTURES: Luke 13:1-9, 1 Timothy 4:1, Romans 5:20, Galatians 3:3, John 3: 16, Revelation 21:2, Matthew 7:23 Continue reading
Sunday TX – 12/01/2013
Scriptures Used: 1 James 1:1-8, Psalm 117, 2 Timothy 2:14-16, John 8:31-47
Subject: This week we needed a lot of patience with the power down. It was a lesson in patience with all who are connected with the correction of the problem. We need to practice patience. Continue reading
Sunday TX – 11/24/2013
Scriptures Used: Psalm 26, Hebrews 9:11-15, 1 Corinthians 1:23-31
Subject: When you have adversity, something like us now with no electricity, what do you do? You could sit and complain and if you do you get nothing done. What we’ve been doing is having fellowship with no distractions. In times like that you could go one of two ways, have a pity party or move on. The army calls it adapt and overcome. When we move on there is something the other side of you for you to get. Continue reading

Scriptures Used: Proverbs 28:13, 1 Corinthians 10:13, 1 John 1:9, 1 Corinthians 15:33-34, John 14:15
Subject: We are all sinners and need forgiveness. If you don’t know it or if you don’t think you are, it holds you back a lot of the time. To overcome a sin we need to confess our sins to the Lord and ask His forgiveness, turn from it, then do that sin no more and He will blot it out and remember it no more and give us a new beginning, so don’t go back or bother yourself in it anymore, forget it, receive and move forward. Sunday TX – 11/10/2013
Scriptures Used: Hebrews 11, Matthew 22.
Subject: Our prayers aren’t answered because our faith is in the wrong place, we don’t believe God will deliver and He cannot reward unbelief (sin). The spirit of Cain and Abel are still alive today. et us not look to serve God with the flesh, but rather to serve Him with the spirit and mind. Continue reading
Sunday TX – 11/03/2013
Scriptures Used: Matthew 13:1-4, Matthew 13:25-40, Genesis 4:1, Philippians 3:1, Hebrews 12:3, Hebrews 4:1
Subject: The sower goes forth sowing not looking where the seed is falling, if it is ready or if it is worthy. If it falls on rock it’s like the new Christian who has a party but the first sign of tribulation or a hard time, gives up because he has no root – you need faith to stand. The seed among thorns start off good but their fruits become worthless – faith is choked. Fear is care which is a noun. There was a man who kept saying “take care” though Davy said “no thanks” every time. Davy grew weary of saying “No thanks” and stopped and things got all wrong on the ranch until he said “No enough!” when things got better. There is power in words, check your words. Say what you mean to say! Wheat is confident in God not in a church, parent etc. Continue reading

Sunday TX – 10/27/2013
Scriptures Used: Mark 16:9, Mark 9:24, Jeremiah 8:4, Hebrews 10:23, 1 Thessalonians 5:14, 2 Timothy 1:13, Hebrews 3:6
Subject: Believe. The word Believe appears hundreds of times and by 2 or 3 witnesses of a word in the Bible it should show us it’s an important thing. Believing is a simple thing but is not always easy. We need to know the Word and obey what’s written. Even the apostles after walking with Jesus and seeing miracles and hearing Him teaching, they still struggled to believe. Jesus called the disciples out on their unbelief and after that they started walking believing. Continue reading
Sunday TX – 10/20/2013
Scriptures Used: 2 Timothy 2, Mark 10, 1 Peter 1:4, 1 Peter 4
Subject: The same commit thou to faithful men. Endure hardness – that hardness is not something put on us by the Lord. There is a hardness in training of a soldier. Training is not an easy thing because of this corrupt body of flesh. Training isn’t designed to be painful to us, it’s designed for us to be able to develop into soldiers who will profit Him and His Kingdom. Our goal is to prosper each other. Provoke one another to love and good works. Speaking the truth is love, no matter what it sounds like. Continue reading
