Hour of Truth – 01/04/2015

Paul the Apostle said that we glory in tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh patience and patience, experience: and experience, hope. This is a process that we choose to submit to. If you’re not willing to let that process work in you then you will never have the gospel work in your life. That is why Paul gloried in tribulation to have the power of the gospel work in his life and for others.

Hour of Truth – 11/23/2014

Christians often presume that God is on their side and that they are ok right where they are. But often the word of God is not taken seriously. Take what sounds good and leave behind what we don’t think sounds good and walk around satisfied with that. Satan is always looking for whom he can devour, kill, steel from, or destroy like a roaring lion. He is a predator looking for any weakness he can find in you. Stand strong in the power and might of Jesus Christ and not give Satan a way to get to you.

Hour of Truth – 9/28/2014

We are not right in the natural flesh. We are faulty. We have no justification of ourselves. Only in Jesus do we have justification because of what He did on the cross. We spend too much time justifying the old man and agreeing with it instead of putting it away and receiving the freedom from it in Christ. Tribulation teaches us that faith in Jesus works. To love the Lord is not an emotion or a feeling, it is a choice. It is an act of your will. Jesus died on the cross for us while we were yet sinners. He received us when we were at our worst. We should receive others in the same manner.

Hour of Truth – 9/7/2014

We really need to realize how good the Lord is. The goodness of the Lord is taking the care from us so we can have a peace of mind and be at peace with Him. Recognizing His good works in a situation that seems hopeless. No matter how long you have walked with the Lord or how close you are to the Lord, you will always have a need to have your faith tried and continue to be reminded that He is our only hope to be shed of the things that hold us back from continuously moving forward.

Sunday TX – 8/10/2014

Hold fast to the whole Word of the Lord, to follow Him, love Him, stand for the Lord and walk the walk he has told us to witness of Him to others whether they think they know Him or not. The Lord is not slack in any of His promises. If there seems a disconnect it is with our unbelief of Him and His Word that stops us moving forward in His love and power. Jesus comes and promises more abundant life to believers. Scott tells Melanie’s experience and some test results.

Hour of Truth – 10/27/2013

Scriptures Used: James 1, Ephesians 6, Hebrews 11:6, Proverbs 3:5, Romans 8:1, Romans 5:1-5, Psalms 37.
Most of us look at somebody like Paul or any of the people we might look at in the Bible and somehow think it’s different, that they always were standing in the kind of thing that we experienced at the convention, but it’s not the truth. They made a choice to continue to stand and go forth and it wasn’t based on any kind of feeling really, like we experienced, great worship and ministry where you just walked into the chapel and the Spirit of the Lord was there, but the Spirit of the Lord is still here and we have to be about His business even though we don’t necessarily feel like we did there. It’s really a choice. Every man and women who served the Lord did it because they chose to, not because of anything else, and that choice came from the fact that they actually believed Him and went forward in it.
